Why attend the Ijtema?
“I would like to draw the attention of those Khuddam who are not attending this Ijtema and want to express my sadness and surprise. I would like to tell them that the purpose of Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is to develop this realization, that they are the Servants (Khuddam) of Ahmadiyyat.”
Syedna Hazrat Musleh Maud (ra)
What is the purpose of Ijtema
“It is very important to recognise that the primary objective of the Ijtema is not merely for the Khuddam and Atfal to gather together and enjoy each other’s company. Rather, the true and
overriding objective of the Ijtema is the spiritual, moral and religious development of the
participants.”
Syedna Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba)

Hadhrat Aisha (ra) narrates that The Prophet (saw) was asked, "What deeds are loved most by Allah?" He said, "The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few." He added, 'Don't take upon yourselves, except the deeds which are within your ability." - Bukhari
As we enter the year, let’s keep in mind the theme of the year as approved by Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) - Hayya Alal Falah (Come to Success). Success in the context of the new year starts with setting ourselves goals that we will work hard to achieve, while the efforts to achieve them draw us closer to our Creator and Sustainer. (aba)
