Activities in Northeast Region

Northeast Regional Ijtema held successfully!
By grace of Allah Northeast Regional Ijtema was held successfully in Albany, Ny on May 10th 2008. Ijtema was attended by 69 khuddam and atfals from all 7 majalis. It was truly fun packed event and was enjoyed by everyone. Khuddam and atfal competed in various educational and sports competitions. Sanat-o-tajarat workshop was also held. Respected Naib sadr Raheem Lateef sahib gave an inspiring closing remarks and Ijtmea was concluded with Dua.

Alhamdo lillah week long Northeast region Atfal tarbiyyat camp was held in Boston . Camp was huge success. 18 Atfal from all Northeast region majlis attended the camp.

Camp started with opening ceremony on Saturday in which local Boston president sahib welcomed everyone to Tarbiyyat camp. Respected Murabbi Yahya Luqman sahib and 3 students from Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada were teachers for camp. Day always began with Tahujjad prayer followed by Fajr prayer and Dars. After Fajr students had free time to sleep for 2 hours. Outdoor exercises and stretches were lead by one of elder Atfal before breakfast. After breakfast students were divided into 2 groups and correct recitation of Holy Quran was taught to them by Jamia students.

Urdu classes were taken by respected Murabbi sahib in which students were taught of urdu Alphabets and how to write Urdu. In Urdu class students also wrote letter to beloved Huzoor in Urdu.

At Salat time students lead the Salat and also students gave small Dars talk after maghrib and Isha prayers.

Students also went for field trips including Museum of Science , laser tag and bowling.

Camp was very much enjoyed by students who made friends among each other and enjoyed camp activities.

Camp came to end on Friday night. Respected Naib Ameer Daud Haneef sahib was in presence for closing ceremony. Prizes and certificate of attendance were giving out to all students. Camp was closed with silent prayer by Respected Naib Ameer sahib.
